1. Your Absolute Right to Complete Data Erasure

With VitalsMirror, you are in complete control of your personal profile and optical wellness data history. You can permanently delete your VitalsMirror account and all associated wellness data at any time—either instantaneously from inside the Android/iOS mobile app (Method 1) or directly via the web/email without reinstalling the app (Method 2).

We never require you to call a phone number, fill out a reason survey, or pay any fee to delete your account.

2. Method 1: Instant 1-Tap In-App Deletion (Android & iOS)

If you have the VitalsMirror app installed on your Android phone or iPhone, you can wipe all local and cloud wellness data immediately in 3 simple steps:

Open VitalsMirror and tap the Profile & Settings tab (bottom navigation bar or top-right profile icon).
Scroll to the Privacy & Data Controls card and tap "Delete My Account & All Wellness Data" (highlighted in red).
Tap "Confirm Permanent Deletion" in the confirmation dialog.

What happens immediately upon confirmation:

Your local device database (SQLite wellness check-in history, profile calibration, and Keystore/Keychain session tokens) is wiped in 0 milliseconds.
Our cloud server immediately executes a cascading hard-delete across your account profile, 7/30/90-day heart rate & wellness check-in records, and baseline calibration history.
You are returned to the fresh onboarding screen with zero retained identifiers.

3. Method 2: Web / Email Deletion Request (If You Uninstalled the App)

In compliance with Google Play Store's Web Account Deletion Requirement, you can request complete account and wellness data deletion without opening or reinstalling the mobile app:

Send an email from your registered email address to [email protected] with the subject line:
Delete My VitalsMirror Account
(Optional) If you only wish to delete your historical Wellness Check-In Records while keeping your login account active (Partial Data Deletion), use the subject line:
Clear My VitalsMirror Wellness History Only
Our automated and privacy desk pipeline verifies ownership of the sending email address, executes the permanent deletion within 72 hours, and sends you a final confirmation email once your records are purged.
